BIO: My name is Anita Lain and I was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois in 1968 on Christmas Day. I’ve been married for over 4 years to my loving and supporting husband Larry Stigler who supports my dreams. I played the role of mother to my 5 children until they flourished into adulthood, and I am now living my lifelong dream. I am a runway and print model, and I am also in the medical field taking care of others. My entire life I have had a deep passion and drive for the entertainment industry. I chose to start my career by attending the Illinois Center for Broadcasting to learn the behind-the-scenes aspects of production. While there, I experienced being in front of the camera as well and found my niche in the spotlight! Shortly after, I took photos to create my portfolio and began to learn to pose and found out I was a natural. I received offers from many photographers to be photographed and I was invited to participate in many productions. I have made cameos on TV shows, music videos, and local movie productions. I have also participated in several on stage play productions in the Chicagoland area, but I found out my true my love is in modeling. I have traveled for shows locally (Illinois), Atlanta, New York and internationally in London, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. My most recent work has been with the Fashion Life Tour and House of Ikon, London, traveling with destination model shoot for different runway shows, such as Passion 4 fashion in Indianapolis and Rise NYFW The Model Experience. I’ve also been published in many magazines. I am happy and thriving in this industry and I am excited for what comes next! - Anita Stigler - |
